The SotS team started the New Year on a high, as we welcomed Gordon Laing as our new General Manager. Gordon joins us from ‘Hope for Justice’, an anti-human trafficking charity based in Bradford, where he worked in partnership with many other statutory and non-statutory agencies across the North of England, identifying victims of modern slavery and human trafficking and rescuing them from their predicament. Before joining the third sector, Gordon spent 28 years in the Army as a soldier and officer, experiencing life in many countries across the world before finally deciding to settle in Leeds with his family in 2014. Gordon is looking forward to meeting many of our supporters in the coming months.
