Give Something Up
Registration fee: Free
Fundraising target: Raise as much as you can
Ready for a challenge? Give something up for Simon On The Streets and turn a personal sacrifice into meaningful support for people facing homelessness.
Whether it’s clothes, gadgets, subscriptions or daily treats, letting go can help someone move forward.
How it works
-
Decide what you’ll give up and how long you’ll go without it.
-
Set yourself a fundraising target (we recommend £100+).
-
Create your JustGiving page and link it to Simon On The Streets.
-
Tell people what you’re giving up and why it matters to you.
-
Share your JustGiving link with friends, family and colleagues for sponsorship.
-
Complete your challenge, reflect on the experience, and thank everyone who supported you.

How your fundraising helps
£20 can pay travel costs for a homeless person to attend a flat viewing or benefits appointment with our outreach worker.
£40-75 can support a two-hour outreach session on the streets, providing emotional and practical support to rough sleepers.
£100 provides a day’s one-to-one support to an entrenched rough sleeper, to help them begin to turn their lives around.
